The APEC CEO Summit 2003 offered exactly the right opportunity for IBPN Thailand to make its first appearance on stage as the management of the International Press Centre, using its wide and useful connections to ensure maximum publicity throughout Thailand, Asia and the World. As our CEO, Miss Saithip Sangsingkeaw, who had previously worked for a large organisation took over, at that time, offical responsibility for the registration management part of the 20th World Scout Jamboree, 2003 with over 30,000 participants. Furthermore she was in charge of the Public Relation Management. This highly prestigious event attracted press and journalists from all over the globe as most nations had sent delegations there. Maturing into a full scale Event Organizer within only a year, IBPN took over the challenging task of organizing an International Event for the Thai Ministry of Energy. Having only one month´s preparation time for this event, with attending ministers from all over ASEAN, China, Japan, Germany and Brazil, and hundreds of delegates, security personnel, and reporters from all over Asia, IBPN Thailand introduced night shifts and 80 hour weeks to make this event a guaranteed success. Concentrating rather on quality than quantity, IBPN Thailand is careful to target only high-profile events, which lead to the necessary name recognition among the business and governmental fields.
